Can't buy the utility droid

So I ended up assaulting the sith base before ever speaking with Cando am I know just unable to get the droid? I ended up doing it early in my playthrough and I don't want to have to restart.

Don't you need the droid to unlock the door before you can get into the base?

Not sure I was able to kill the sith and hack the entrance door myself. Condo had different dialogue for me doing it before he asked me too as well. I ended up using a save editor to check off T3s event flags and I was able to get him.

I would adivise you not to do so, cause you may've broken the game for you as you definately need t3m4 to get into the base.

Yeah I don't think it's possible to get into that door through any normal player means, only with T3. KOTOR 1 is a simple linear game. No need to use console commands or KSE or whatever. The first utility droid in the shop you can buy isn't the droid you're looking for, and if you just follow the storyline quests you'll end up with the droid anyway right after the swoop race if I recall. Canderous basically says, "go get the droid" then you get the droid, and as soon as you approach the door, T3 automatically opens it. Then you can swap him out of party if you want.

I got into the habit of buying the T50 and then returning it for the same amount of credits for light side, and demanding more money for some very easy dark side points. 25 or so completions and I do it every time lol.
