Sith Trooper Texture Bug

I recently started playing KOTOR 1 on my PC. Having played it on the Xbox several years ago, I decided to make the move to PC after examining the vast modified content available. My laptop doesn't have the best specs, but the graphics are close to what I remember. There is one pressing issue. While not game breaking, the armour for the Sith trooper does not render correctly. I have attached a picture of the problem, with the correct render displayed to the left:

My OS is Windows 8.1 and my graphics card is an Intel HD 4000 Graphics card and I have the non-Steam UK disc version of the game.

Any way to correct this issue?

This has been happening to me as well (and yes, I know this topic is sorta aged). It really bothers me, because the Sith Troopers look awful and it really hurts the game for me.

I've tried installing a texture that overrides the original, but it just turns them a nasty green.

If there is ANY way to fix this, PLEASE help.

I don't know I see it like you show on the left. I am using an nvidia chipset.

@nodesai, yeah they are suposed to look like that, that nice silvery colour.

@Devianteist I know how you feel, especially if you have OCD like me where you want something to look the way it should!

Scorch, have you seen if there are any graphics driver updates? If nvidia is working I wonder if it is an intel problem.

@nodesai There are graphic updates but however, updating to the latest driver seems to cause a unbearable texture glitch which I posted a topic about before and it turns out an Intel update caused the problem, even then the Sith Troopers alone weren't right. I believe Intel doesn't work well with KOTOR.
