Feel free to contact me on Deadly Stream if you want me to do it for you.
Thank you for the application, only questions I have is where I would find the robes in the files and how I would implement it into the game after changing it, also, thank you for being generous with even more of your time, but I would like to see if I could complete this on my own, I am still very new to modding and just software in general.
In KotOR Tool the file is under:
Kotor I -> BIFs -> templates.bif -> Blueprint, Item -> g_a_mstrrobe06.uti
You can double click the item, change its properties in the Properties tab. In this case you would want to select the 1st line, then press delete to remove it.
When you're done you press the "Save" button, it should be saved in a subfolder of the game's folder, named "Override" (you may need to create it yourself if it's not there yet).
The location of the game should be something like:
[drive]:\[steamfolder]\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\swkotor
Managed to finally mod something, thank you for your help! Without you linking me to the tool and telling me where to find the file It would've probably have taken a few weeks longer!
Happy modding :)
I have two other questions I've been trying to figure out, I hope you don't mind me asking, but how do I get the kotOR tool to work with KOTOR2, I've tried linking its path but it doesn't accept/recognize it and stays greyed out. Also whenever I open the tool it comes back with the error "-remote server returned an error (404)-", I couldn't really figure it out after I tried looking online. Am I just blind to the obvious?

The error is because the update server is long gone, to get rid of it:
KotOR Tool -> menu -> Tools -> Options -> Other tab -> uncheck "Check for program updates at startup"
p.s. I like sharing my knowledge, so no, I don't mind at all. Feel free to ask more questions :)
Thanks for helping me fix startup issue, but I seemed to have done something to where it doesn't read either KOTOR or KOTOR2, I deleted something in my Registry editor after I added it in thinking it was just a waste of a string, I don't know if that could be the issue or something else I did. Also, I looked at that discussion yesterday and I couldn't get it to work, apparently I'm missing the LucasArts folder aswell.
The instructions in the guide should do the trick for K2, but do keep in mind the 32 & 64 bit differences.
Next to running a .reg file you can manually create folders (Right click a "folder", then New -> Key) and values in the registry editor, similar to how you do things in the Windows File Explorer. Which type of values you need to pick might be less obvious than the "folder" structure.
Don't be afraid to try registry entries like this out, even adding both the 32 & 64 bit approaches from the guide shouldn't cause any harm, either one simply won't be "seen".
Below is my 64-bit setup, if you do manually set things up then I suggest doing the "folder" structure and only the "path" value (New -> String value) to get things to work for KotOR Tool, I don't think KotOR Tool cares about any of the other values.
