Screen stretching help-Can't get flawless widescreen to work

Card is NVIDIA GeForce GTX1080
When i try to play the game the screen is stretched. Needless to say this is ugly. I tried flawless widescreen but when I try to play the game it gives me an error code =5 under status and doesnt work. Any help? My native resolution is 1920x1080

Flawless Widescreen isn't recommended because it's very buggy and doesn't work most of the time.
It will often cause random game crashes and your save files will most likely get corrupted causing you to lose your saved progress.

Many players recommended this guide to me and I think it shows the best way to play Kotor in HD resolutions.

This doesn't work. I've done exactly as it says. Another stretched screen with half a torso in a right corner of the screen.

The recommended 64 bit version of Flawless Widescreen didn't work for me, but the x86 (32 bit) was, well, flawless.

A word of caution though, my game has crashed twice now in about 10 hours of play, each time wiping out my quick save file. I assumed it was due to an old game on a newer system, but reading above it seems that maybe this was a result of the utility so save early and often.
