KOTOR is much more forgiving in this regard. You DO have a journal that keeps track of your quest progress. You DO have a map that tells you where you are, and where the next connecting areas are. You DO have a dialog system that not-so-subtly tells you what to do.
Play the game. Walk around. You'll figure things out. =)
Maybe I had enough time when I was young. But I'm 31 now and have a job and also quality time with my family or friends.
As a working man I just took an hour or two every day to finish this game in a couple of weeks on GOG, sure I didn't take that much time to be with friends but that's just an added week on top to finish a good game.
I'm rather delighted when a game can take my focus off from everything for once and not be something I listen or watch videos on the side.
I might be old, but i remember a friend told me he use to play older rpg's in 2000's with pen and papper to write down stuff so he remembers thing's. Not criticize or anything, just some insight on how people use to play back in the day.
Ubisoft is respecting my time. I don't have time to travel through a world and immerse and interact with the game.
I just want a small videogames quality after work.
Just a little advice to give you an idea of how to go abut things in KOTOR1/KOTOR 2.
