you got no quest markers. you have to explore and talk to the people.

This is an RPG. It's one of the last "classic" RPGs. There were no quest markers with the classics. You were given NO help with quests. You didn't have journals keeping track of what you learned. You didn't have maps telling you where people were. You explored, you remembered conversations with NPCs, and you figured out how to solve quests yourself.

KOTOR is much more forgiving in this regard. You DO have a journal that keeps track of your quest progress. You DO have a map that tells you where you are, and where the next connecting areas are. You DO have a dialog system that not-so-subtly tells you what to do.

Play the game. Walk around. You'll figure things out. =)
The only problem with the whole “figure it out yourself” design is that you would have to play through the whole game in one sitting otherwise you’ll forget about what part you’re up to & have no idea what you’re supposed to do next essentially when you take an extended break that varies from weeks to months at a time making the task of just JUMPING RIGHT IN next to impossible. My experience is that if you have to search for your next objective then it’ll start getting repetitive by just looking around in circles hoping you find something that leads to your next objective..

Guys, walkthroughs for the game have existed for twenty years... KotOR's maps are extremely reduced and streamlined for console players even compared to previous Bioware titles. You should not be getting lost or confused in what are essentially branching hallways. Clear the areas, read the quest log and stop being purveyors of decline by demanding more hand-holding in RPGs.

How should you do quests without markers. I have no time to run around and search for clues.

Maybe I had enough time when I was young. But I'm 31 now and have a job and also quality time with my family or friends.

As a working man I just took an hour or two every day to finish this game in a couple of weeks on GOG, sure I didn't take that much time to be with friends but that's just an added week on top to finish a good game.

I'm rather delighted when a game can take my focus off from everything for once and not be something I listen or watch videos on the side.

I might be old, but i remember a friend told me he use to play older rpg's in 2000's with pen and papper to write down stuff so he remembers thing's. Not criticize or anything, just some insight on how people use to play back in the day.

Ubisoft is respecting my time. I don't have time to travel through a world and immerse and interact with the game.
I just want a small videogames quality after work.

This isn't a UbiSoft game, though. Bad analogy from a bad player.

Shen is at the very beginning of Nar Shadda. When in a new area or on a new planet, go through each area and make sure you have completely removed the "Fog of War" from the map. If you have been doing this, plus interacting with any and all NPCs you come across and opening all doors/interacting with computer monitors, you'll have found all the quests and conversations. Clearing a map comes in especially useful when you get to the Malachor V planet as Bao Dur's remote. Clear maps, talk to everyone, interact with everything. Go online and find maps if you want to avoid certain event triggers like the Exchange on Nar Shadda. Knowing how to avoid an Event Trigger will help if you only want to go to Nar Shadda for the lightsaber parts, then to Onderon to pick up Mandalore before returning BACK to Nar Shadda with him in your party to talk to the Mandalorians on the docks (influence points!.

Just a little advice to give you an idea of how to go abut things in KOTOR1/KOTOR 2.
