KOTOR not launching on Windows 10
I recently bought the Star Wars bundle on Steam and tried to launch KOTOR. It does nothing when I do this and I'm not sure where to start to find the problem and fix

I have it working for me on Windows 10. The only thing I imagine might be different in mine from yours is that I am running Steam in administrator mode. To do it, you have to completely close down Steam via the Exit button, then set the launcher to adminstrator mode. I don't know if it'll fix it for you guys but it's worth a shot.

I had this problem with BF2 and for me if the vsync was on for older games it would crash idk if this is similar to yours but that was how i fixed my older games

I came across this but thought that was cases where it actually begins to launch then crashes. Mine literally does nothing and I see no processes starting up for it

Hmmm. Try setting the exe file to run as administrator, possibly try setting compatibility to one of the Win XP options, that's all I can think of.

I second the comment about vsync. I had the exact same problem but going to the game settings and turning it off fixed it.

When I tried putting the game in compatibility mode with any version of windows that was xp or later it wasn't working at all and would quit before it started. Yet I threw it into windows 95 and it worked. Tried 98 too and that also worked. Don't know why but it fixed the problem. Maybe that is your solution.

I am having the same issue, and am very new to steam...Can someone tell me what vsync is?

in order to get it working you had to change the swkotor.ini file, I had to disable movies then it worked mind you this is with the cd version but would think you should be able to do the same here
