STAR WARS™ Knights of the Old Republic™

What is Revan's canon Jedi class?
I know that Revan is canonically a male, and he is a Light Side hero, and that he's a Soldier, but what is his default character portrait, and what is his default Jedi class? I'm trying to do a fully canon run of the KotOR series, so this is important. I'd also like to know these things about Meetra Surik too.

They never said. They said he's very strong in the Force (Consular), but he also has many skills (Sentinel) & is a fierce warrior & lightsaber duelinst (Guardian).

I'm just going to go with Guardian, because he was a Soldier before.

If you're going for a canon-inspired playthrough, check out the mod below. Other than that, just run with the role-playing elements and what you prefer.

Top poster makes a good argument here. Revan was all classes. Skilled in the way of the lightsaber, a powerful force user and having an admiration for droids. He was literally all the classes combined.

Revan isn't canon, so doesn't matter.

Yes he is. He's mentioned several times in The Old Republic, and seen in SWTOR as well. They even released a DLC titled, "Shadow of Revan".

The thing is that SW:TOR isn't canon, as other games published before 2015.

There are two sets of canon. The movies have their own, everything else falls under the Legends canon. So technically speaking, Revan is canon.

Star Wars Legends refers to the expanded universe of novels, comics, etc... they are not canon. the term Star Wars Legends is used to designate those things that are explicitely NOT canon. it's not two official sets of official story lines. there is one official storyline, everything else written about Star Wars is Star Wars Legends.

Old Republic will probably be canon again. BTW, since HK 47 is in Galaxy of Heroes i guess that he is canon already ;)

Galaxy of Heroes is not canon

I would sentinel purely because as everyone mentioned he is everything. so sentinel is the middle or inbetween balanced class.
Ragnarök Nov 30, 2016 @ 12:53pm
It's not canon purely because Disney is a lazy company who applied a hammer where a scalpel would have sufficed. 30+ years of expanding the universe down the drain and they haven't even made anything new that's worth a damn since the acquisition. It's pathetic really.

However, in the legends ‘’ canon ‘’ Revan is male, and light side. Was guardian Jedi during the Mandalorian wars. But after the Jedi council remodeled his mind it s never explicitly said which class he his (except that on the novel cover he wields a green saber) but as I recall it is never said in the book which color is his blade. In Swtor he wields a purple lightsaber to avoid making a real canon.

As for the exile, the canon is female light side called Meetra Surik. She is guardian (the novel says her blade is blue)

Revan is a powerful lore individual in star wars one of the few force sensitive beings to use both sides of the force. This is much more potent than being commited to one alignment.

I choose to believe revan's mastery of the force is his strength not skills with a lightsaber although he is competent at that.
