Anyway to remove force speed blur...
That doesn't involve sweeping changes like disabling the frame buffer effects or using the realistic visual effects mod which removes the force push "air" effect that I'd rather keep.

Download KotOR Tool, install it. Download Shem's mod. Extract his visualeffect.2da file somewhere convienient. Open KotOR tool, expand BIFs - 2da.bif - 2D Array, find visualeffects.2da, extract it somewhere convienient.

Use the built-in .2da editor and open both the default file and Shem's modified .2da in separate windows. Compare the two by flipping between the windows, take note of what entries Shem removed in any lines referencing Speed, and do as he did in the default file. Save the new file and toss it in the override folder.

I recently had to do this myself because I didn't like how he removed the healing effects as well as the wave effects. It's tedious, but it's not difficult to fix.

Actually I discovered something vastly easier....apparently someone edited the visualeffect.2da file for KOTOR 2 to only remove the speed blur....and interestingly enough this file also works for the original KOTOR as well.
