Report a translation problem
Use the built-in .2da editor and open both the default file and Shem's modified .2da in separate windows. Compare the two by flipping between the windows, take note of what entries Shem removed in any lines referencing Speed, and do as he did in the default file. Save the new file and toss it in the override folder.
I recently had to do this myself because I didn't like how he removed the healing effects as well as the wave effects. It's tedious, but it's not difficult to fix.
