Does the planet landing order matter?
Just wondering if it matters what planets I land on in what order. I don't want to land on a planet and be completely decimated due to higher levels. I plan to start on Tatooine and will most likely follow up with Kashyyk if that helps at all (assuming it doesn't matter).

Yes, it does matter.
Since storyline events occur, if you land on a planet after a certain point, they may refer you to that event (or you may refer to that event)... just a small talk for the most part.

However, if you don't go to Manaan as one of your first planets, you could potentially miss out on a small side quest (with decent rewards).

The canon order is Tatooine, Kashyyyk, Manaan then Korriban. I usually do Korriban as my third stop though.

Korriban has a lot of added story stuff if you do it last cuz reasons. I don't want to spoil anything.

Manaan and Korriban are the toughest planets I think.

I tend to do Tatooine just until I get HK-47 from there. Leave, do all of Kashyyyk. Finish Tatooine. Manaan. Korriban.

As enemies don't scale up (unlike Kotor 2) it should be possible to do the four planets in any order, although some are harder than others. However, to do all the party members side quests requires adding them to your party and developing their conversation lines - which takes time and experience. To do that I start with Kashyyk, then Tatooine, Manaan and finally Korriban,

There's also a side quest for Mission which requires stuff on Kashyyk to get to Tatooine. So that planet order helps with that.
