How to find the truth of the murder on Dantooine?
I couldn't find the liar that involved in the murder of Calder, that is,I don't have the choice that point out both of them are lying. But I have already talked to Handon and Rickard for many times and investigated the corpse....so pls tell me how to finish that side quest, thanks!

You have to verify each one's responses with the droid. The droid has facts (data in which you are 100% sure that it is the truth), so what you have to do is compare their answers to the facts the droid provides you with.

So the action I should take is talk to Handon then talk to the droid and the same to Rickard?

I tried again but still no helps, the problem is that no matter how I change the way I speak to Handon and Rickard, the conversation choice of Bolook would not change but only:1 Handon is lying.2,Rickard is lying.,in this situation I couldn't solve it:the choice I want to choose is hidden. Is there anything else I need to investigate?

Everything is there in the conversations. You need to establish that Handon had a motive (his wife was having an affair with the dead man), Rickard had a motive (the dead man was cheating him), the rifle did not belong to the dead man and the blood on it was not his. That should be enough to unlock the option that both are lying.

I think at one point you have to talk to the droid then Rickard to establish his motive. Make sure you have exhausted the conversation options with all 3 each time before talking to Boolok.

Edit: Are you at the first time you have to tell Boolok who is lying or the second? The first time you can only choose one, the second time you should get the option to say both.

ok I got it:I should talk to both of the witness for three times and then go to Bolook, where his talking options will be changed and then I can continue on investigation:talking to Handon,Rickard, droid and turn to Bolook for help, this process will last for three time and Bolook will ask you for "who is lying"then there comes the truth.I must say it's quite a complicate side quest that made me puzzled for near two weeks....:steamsad:

But it's very interesting! I love those side quests because each one of them is a small story on their own and murder mysteries and investigations are fun to solve, at least for me. :DD

Surely it is,this quest was focusing on how to simulate a detective story by the game and once you have solve it,you'll be quite satisfied. But I have to say,the performance of the game was a drag on the whole quest, however, this is still the CLASSIC RPG that I ENJOYED very much!:steamhappy:

Actually Rickard Is Lying As He Said The Sun Was In His Eyes, But It Was Cloudy That Day

They were BOTH lying, that's the only valid answer to get the best solution.

There's a lot of questions I'd like to ask to fact-check their stories but the idiotic game won't let me. No matter how many times I talk to them all in what order, I can only get the same set of initial responses. I can never get any further information about anything out of anyone, including the blasted droid, which only seems to be able to answer the first two questions, and one of those would be useful *IF* I could ask a follow-up question, but the game doesn't let me. I see multiple things mentioned above that I cannot get either the droid, Bolook, or either suspect to tell me, and there's no option to deduce them. I'm about ready to stick my own lightsaber through my head to end the frustration. This miniquest is a metaphorical brick wall.

You have to go through each part one piece at a time. Find a contradiction in a witness testimony against what is told by the droid. That's all you need to do at each stage, really.

Took me awhile to figure it out but you need to talk to Bolook and Discuss a murder. Then you say that Rickard lied. This will not conclude your investigation, instead will allow you to question them further.

I think the frustration here is that for some of, the droid has exactly 2 lines: 1) About the body (it died 3 hrs ago), 2) What are the surroundings like? And nothing about the people.

You get information on the people after you go to Bolook and accuse one of them.
