What Kind of Adventure Game Difficulty?

Well hey there! I was interested in just how difficult the adventure gaming aspects of the Monkey Island series get in general. What I mean is, a lot of the older point and click adventure titles had mistakes that, if you made them, you not only couldn't beat the game, but could continue on, only to realize hours later that you could no longer complete the adventure.

Keep in mind, I'm not complaining about this kind of difficulty level, and in fact love that it exists for those people that are super into it. It makes me very happy when everyone has at least one series that they love, even if I can't get into it.

Anywho, I'm wondering if this game has those kind of moments? Like I said, if it does, and you like that kind of challenge, then I'm very happy for you, it's just not for me.

This game is not like those games (Kings Quest anyone?). You can't die and you will be able to complete the game without fear of not beating it. I highly recommend it.

Well actually there's one easter egg situation where you can die in this game, I recommend you to end the game and then play it again by trying to find those easter egg. Monkey Island series is one of my fauvorites childhood game! I have played all them several times :)

I wasn't going to mention it, but yes there is one known place you can die. It is extremely hard to accomplish in the game, so it is not something to worry about. There is another easter egg in the game where they make fun of these styles of games you mentioned in the title. Hopefully you can find that one too.

Actualy the game is full of easter eggs ... mainly related with other games from lucas arts. I love them!

So funny, i just bought the first 2 Monkey Island games the other day right before they went on sale (what Guybrush type of luck) I had not played them in years, but this series is perhaps my all time favorite from when I was growing up, and I would definitely recommend them all. Can't wait for the 3rd and best one to get remade!

I have once got stuck in the original version of Monkey Island 2 where I should have done something before another. Had to check out the walktrough to find what I did wrong, and boy, didn't that piss me off! Very annoying to find out thast you are stuck :D

Please describe what part. You shouldn't be in this game.
