Music soundtracks not playing?

I just started the game, as soon as I pass the stage with the pirates with the rats (that is, as soon as I enter the alley with the sheriff or the shop), the music stops. If I press F10, I get the normal background music (and no ambience sounds of course). I don't think it is normal, is there a way to fix it? It is a bit sad not to hear the music themes while playing. At the beginning of the game the monkey island theme and the SCUMM bar theme were playing correctly.
