full screen and then not?

up until last night i played fullscreen. i closed the game and went to bed, and then this morning i can't play in fullscreen anymore. any advice from anyone? i'm on windows 10 and i can't find that settings.ini file :(

The settings.ini file is located under AppData, which is hidden. You can change this by following these steps: click the start button, click control panel, click appearance and personalization, and then click folder options. When the folder options dialogue box pops up select the view tab. Under advanced settings, select "show hidden files and folders", and then click OK.

After that the path to the ini file should be this:
C:\Users\[Username]\AppData\Roaming\LucasArts\The Secret of Monkey Island Special Edition

From there you will be able to edit the file.

right i found the folder, changed the windowed setting to 0, let's see what happens now...

nice, thanks it seems to work fullscreen now, i've set the file as read-only as a precaution, and hopefully it won't change it back.
