How to download it on Mac OS?

Hey - i would be grateful for any help. I purchased the game in theMonkey Island Bundle to play again after many many years. I have a macbook but didnt realise only The Curse of MI is playable on Mac. Is there anyone I can play this one and the others on Mac? I have SCUMM VM but i need to somehow download the game - (which i can't at the minute because it says only for windows) in order to play on scumm?

There's a bunch of hoops to jump through.

You'd need a Windows VM to download with Steam, and then convert the files to be ScummVM compatible as per other posts. Note that this precludes playing with the high res graphics.

There's also a Mac version of MI:SE which was never sold via Steam, and may not work on a modern Mac.

Thank you . I tried this but doesnt work. I have used CrossOver to download the windows steam platform. This works. I have been able to download the game but when i play it after initially loading it freezes in the main menu screen and I cant get any further. soooo frustrating!!

One way to convert to ScummVM is

but given it's requirement of Microsoft SDK, I'm not not sure it would work under Crossover.

hi- cheers for the suggestion. i tried it. but you're right- it doesnt work in CrossOver.
