This guy linked the thread. Basically, you move the download from that into the files for Monkey Island Special Edition and run it. I haven't done it in a while, but I'll go ahead and re-run it so I can remember the instructions.

Just direct that to the folder of the ultimate talkie edition to play it.
If you need help, the readme file included can help.
I have some experience making these kinds of guides; I've made two compatibility guides (one for Half-Life 1 and one for Rollercoaster Tycoon 1) as well as an installation guide for Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall. I've come a long way since that guide to setting up a Half-Life 1 multiplayer server, and have a general idea of how to make a concise and detailed but easy-to-follow guide.
If you're still interested, let me try one more time to explain it:
- Start by downloading it.[www.gratissaugen.de] (warning: takes you to non-Steam site, this site hosts talkie version builders for both MI 1 and 2)
- Put the folder somewhere in C:\, I recommend C:\MonkeyIsland\MI1Talkie
- Extract the Talkie Builder folder into the same folder, then drop xWMAEncode in there for good measure. DO NOT FORGET THAT EXTRA FILE!
- Run your choice installer: ogg or flac. FLAC is higher quality, OGG takes less space.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9uKIeamPi2YNOTE: Make sure to download the DirectX SDK as well! It'll give you the xWMAEncode file you need to complete the installation.
I'm not really a fan of the remaster myself, so hopefully you can get this sorted out.
