TRUNKS IS RACIST!

So if any of you guys are playing as something other than Saiyan, I assume you've noticed something about Kid Trunks and Gotenks... he makes racist comments when you get close enough for the character introductions.

Here are the ones I've seen.


Kid Trunks vs Namekian: Are you a Namekian like Piccolo? Everybody looks the same.


SS3 Gotenks vs Namekian: In this form, I look like a bad guy. You Namekians know what I'm talking about, right? It's okay, my best friend is a Namekian!


Kid Trunks vs Earthling: Do I have to take this seriously? Well I guess if they're serious too...


Kid Trunks vs Frieza Clan: You look weird!


Way to go, Vegeta, I'm sure Bulma would be pleased when her son begins making slurs in public!

In the Funimation dub his personality tends to lean heavily towards Vegeta. In GT/ Future his personality tends to lean more towards Bulma.

Maybe Vegeta is a more involved in raising Trunks then we are lead to beleave.

That was intentional in the story, Future Trunks was raised more by gohan, and grew up in a very dark world where everyone was running from the androids and it shaped his personality. That's why Future trunks is more compassionate, disciplined and intent on doing good.

Even though kid trunks had to deal with Buu, he grew up in a relatively less stressful time and was raised by both the richest most spoiled woman in the world as well as the most arrogant douche in the series so it makes sense that kid trunks is a brat while future trunks has a much more mild personality.

Indeed. Spoiled rich kids with super powers and a dad who couldn't be more proud when he punches a kid through a wall.

Some of the dialogue between characters is neat. My favorite so far is between Beerus/Whis and Frieza. Blatantly implies they met at some point and Beerus told Frieza to destroy Planet Vegeta.

Vegeta was a part of the Nazi syian line of race. He became tamer after the syian saga but before he was a worse as meryle dixon. Rumor has it he was a former skin head but I think thats BS and found nothing in the official dbz universe for that claim

To be far, Yamucha always sucked, even in Dragon Ball he was never very tough.

Tien and Krillin on the other hand, they were at least tough at certain points in time, and although he's not technically human, Uub is implied to be stronger (or at least possesses the ability to become stronger) than Goku. (No, GT is non-canon, so him sucking in GT is meaningless. Besides, everybody sucked in GT.)

pretty consistent with Trunks' dialogue in the English dubs:

Don't know why none of you can spell Yamcha right?

Anyways, of the three of them, Yamcha is the only one who has actually legitimately defeated Goku.

Krillin has never beaten him without relying on cheating and dishonest tactics, while Tien was going to land outside the ring first until a speeding truck crashed into Goku.

Even if Goku was hungry at the time, the fact remains that Yamcha is the only one of the three main earthlings who defeated him without cheats or relying on outside assistance.

And no, you can not say that Goku was a child, so it wasn't a fair fight. That same child managed to go out and singlehandedly dismantle an entire military before he even hit puberty. He also mastered the Kamehameha instantly, after only witnessing it once.
