Goku's baby voice once again ...

it's annoying. I watch anime both japanese and english dubbed but Goku's baby voice is the worst thing I've ever heard. Why do they keep doing it? What's so cool about it?

His voice is awesome and its no baby voice its an old japanese granny, same speaks gohan and goten.

The Japanese voices are honestly bad imho. Most probably since I grew up with the English dub voices so anything else sounds wrong to me (Yu Yu Hakusho too. The voices in the Japanese are childlike).

99.99% of games/anime I only listen in Japanese with English subs. But I'm probably going to keep English on for the most part.

I remember they interviewed Toriyama about this a long time ago. He wanted Goku to have a childish voice to represent him being pure of heart.

And it just fits his childish personality, he only grew up on the outside but is somehow just a pure little kid inside and btw all the other voices are great, just take Frieza for example or Piccolo, Vegeta, all fuc k in awesome in japanese.

Goku was such an icon in Japan during Dragon Ball that they decided to keep the original voice actor.

For some reason the voice actress that initially voice the child characters go on to voice them the entirely time. Hence why Goku sounds like a child in his 40's.
