and when is superman ever that fast? i've never seen him show anywhere near that kind of super speed in anything i've seen him in, and plz dont say that movie where he flies around the planet to turn back time, that was just dumb
Also, the people in dragon ball are constantly fighting other people with similar strength and withstanding their unbelievable attacks, I doubt a "super strong dude" could make goku flinch considering he's can't do what goku's enemies can right?
Now comes the question about whether superman's power include being literally unbreakable or just very resistant, I doubt there's anything that can resist a powerful ki attack from the DBZ universe but if superman's powers include god-mode cheats then that's it, unless ki is treated like magic, then there's no contest.
Either way, while I do believe goku would win, rather easily, that doesn't mean he's the strongest character either, Dr.Manhattan would probably kick both of their asses, together, in an instant as he isn't godlike, he's pretty much a god himself. But Medaka Box has quite a few cheap characters and abilities that could probably dominate all of them, including the good doctor, like Medaka herself who can learn, copy and improve over anybody else's abilities, which i'm guessing includes the ability to use ki or control matter, Ajimu Najimo that so happens to exist before existence itself came into being, and knows every ability ever made by every being in the universe (not cheap at all) or even Kumagawa Misogi, that could simply deny any aspect of reality, including his own death, superman is strong? No he isn't, not anymore, never was, goku can use ki? Nope, he never could.
Edit: I've watched the 2 death battle videos and it would seem that I have underestimated superman's power, he may be a lot tougher than a star, to the point that he doesn't really have power, he's just anti-reality, I mean lifting infinity? That doesn't even make sense. I mean it's a little silly that the source of his power is very finite, solar energy, from a finite kind of source but the guy doesn't even make sense or play by logic in the first place, the contrast you see between DBZ and DB GT breaking all character development really does seem to be present in every superman comic making him cheat-god-mode in some, and just a rather strong dude in other stories, still, I kind of doubt he could beat the characters I've mentioned earlier and in a real battle neither of them would win past a sparing match victory as neither of them would be capable of killing the other as they are both too good, in the moral sense, for that.
1) Goku is pretty much VIP in the after life and therefore can bend some rules to go back among the living time to time. Means he could fight Superman even after his death. (+He could always brought back with the dragon balls)
2) The way saiyans work. They get stronger after every each fight. The stronger their opponent, the more serious injuries they get, the stronger they get.
Now lets add these together: Even if Superman is (quasi) limitless, he is not really developing further in strength. Goku however does, and even if Superman beats him the first few times, he will be back again and again, and every each time stronger than before.
Conclusion: If Superman is really limitless, over time Goku would became limitless as well, just by fighting him, and eventually it would come to a draw. In case Superman is not limitless after all, over time Goku would surpass him and win.
For future reference, you may want to keep in mind that DC gets way more butt hurt about their beloved characters being defeated than Marvel does. They actually had the gaul to censor a crossover with Mortal Kombat... bunch of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
Just watch Death Battle. They had two matches with Goku vs Superman. One was without God Ki, and the other was with it. In both cases, Superman won.
I believe they explained the reason for Superman's victory quite well. Goku is a powerful fighter, not arguing that, but the feats that Superman has been shown to do break the laws of physics and rationality. The last time we got a confirmation on Goku's feats of strength, he was just barely capable of lifting 40 tons in his base form, and had to go Super Saiyan to handle the weight. I know that he's gotten much stronger since then, but still, 40 tons is barely a paper ball for Superman.
Superman in his prime has absolutely blown any feat Goku has done out of the water. Also, his power level is virtually limitless, because he is constantly being recharged from sunlight, where as Goku's power depletes the longer he uses it.
Even if Goku tried to fight Superman at night, it wouldn't matter, because Superman has been shown to benchpress the weight of earth itself for a week straight without exposure to sunlight, and only shed a single drop of sweat.
Like the first replier said, Superman is too OP, his writers just give him whatever ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ power up he needs to resolve the situation.
Goku has no green rocks... And that's not how Goku fights, either.
