Thank you, but is it true that a specific DLC is needed to get to 99? If yes, which one is it ?
The highest amount of XP you can get from a PQ in this game without some kind of bonus XP event going on is somewhere around 100k, if I remember correctly. But after hitting level 90+, it takes MILLIONS of XP just to gain a single level.
Meaning that you can sit here running the same exact PQ over and over, dozens of times just for a single level advancement.
And since this game's multiplayer is for all intents and purposes a ghost town, with everyone moving to Xenoverse 2, there's absolutely no reason why you would even waste the effort at this point.
I see, thank you :) well, maybe just for personal satisfaction?
Anyway, yes, the max PQ exp you can get is around 100k.
Speaking of max level, the final DLC adds the Elder Kai as a mentor. But he won't accept you for training until you reach a minimum level of 93. He gives you the Unlocked Potential transformation once you max out his training and reach level 95, and he will RARELY increase your chances of RNG rewards from PQ's for the duration of one mission...
Yeah, Xenoverse 1 sucked hard... you're better off moving to Xenoverse 2. At least they included the option to buy levels with Zenni and TP medals. They also have a post game Super Soul which doubles the amount of XP you get from completing missions.
Are you sure he trains you starting at level 93? When I talk to him he says I need to be lvl 80 (but I still didn't accept though)
If that's the case, it seems they may have scaled back the requirement with a patch then. I'm positive that it is (or at least used to be) 93 to begin his training, and 95 to get Unlocked Potential.
