Loom: Remastered
Plenty of the old LucasArts adventure games have gotten re-released and remastered and I think Loom deserves the same treatment. It would be wonderful if they could combine all the versions (I know the VGA version isn't everyones favourte), they could give the sound and graphics a freshening up. Who knows, if it draws enough interest perhaps Brian Moriarty might finally be able to make a sequel, Forge, and maybe some other guilds in the Loom universe. Just a thought I am putting out into the universe.

Yes Loom should be remastered and have like the VGA CD quality graphics or better and restore all of the cut violence and dialog the existed in the Amiga and EGA versions, if you combine the best of each version, you would have a superior version, even an option to disable voices and only have text dialog would be cool. It probably will never happen, but I can dream.

It would be especially nice if it came with a little digital notepad version of the Book of Patterns in the game where you could mark in the drafts for spellweaving.

I would love a remastered directors cut version of this game. One of my all time favourite adventure games. :)

Count me in. That would be amazing. I still prefer the EGA Version, but i wouldn't mind a more modern looks with the mood intact and with speech(in as many languages as possible).

Just like they remastered The Secret of Monkey Island, they should remaster Loom. I LOVED this game growing up. The story line is in-depth and the strategy of the game is clever. I thought the graphics were amazing for 1990! For Monkey Island, all they did was improve the graphics, but the gameplay remains similar and the storyline is exact. They should do this with Loom!

Yes please. Loom is simply the most atmosheric point and click. For me, better than Monkey Island.

there was a fan group that was actually working on a sequel called forge, but it seems life happened and they could no longer afford to pay everyone. you can go to forgegame . com and play the first chapter, the artwork for the game is amazing.
