Magic Quiver
I enjoy this game a bunch, and one of my favorite items to get is the magic quiver. once i get that + a good bow its a really awesome experience.

A question though. does the damage of magic arrows scale off of intelligence, dexterity, or both? I want to know so i can scale the stats needed to deal even more damage once I get it again as a ranger.

Str, all your physical damage scales off of str. Spells gain damage from Int.

Oh? I thought Magic Arrows scaled differently since I was generally doing almost twice as much damage with magic arrows as I was regular arrows on average.

I've never used the magic quiver, but str and dex say they increase damage. Actually i hardly use arrows at all.

You sir are missing out. The Magic Quiver runs off of Mana, so if you go for Mana Shield, you may be in for a tough time. Wield a Homing Arrow Bow along w/ Archery Gloves and you can do some phenomenal things. Runs become almost a joke as you can just kill everyone before you even go in a darkened room.

Dex increases ranged damaged and str does too to a lesser extent.

As far as I've seen, the magic quiver doesn't give any kind of damage modifications. It solely provides near unlimited ammo as.long as your mana holds out.

Magic arrows currently do increase in damage based off your INT stat.

How exactly does the quiver work? Do you need to not have arrows in your inventory? I've gotten it a few times and couldn't equip it and I still shot my wood arrows.

You have to move the quiver so it come before your arrows. Basically, the game reads your inventory starting at the top left corner and goes left to right, top to bottom. So if it comes across your regular arrows first, it will use them. Place the quiver so it can be read by the game before your regular arrows. While you dont technically have to drop all your arrows, you probably should anyway since they'll just be taking up space later.

Hold the drop button for a second to drop all your arrows at once.

But then I just drop them right at my feet and pick them right back up.
