Are potions really useful?
All of the potions in Vagante are really different, and that is great!
But today I asked myself "how many times did I really need that potion?"
Regeneration (life and magic) potions are the most useful, also the featherfall can be useful when there are a lot of spikes (I rarely need to use it, but sometime it is just the only way to get an item).
But the other potions?
Strenght, defense, poison, speed are (in my opinion) completely useless. They don't really give an advantage in the game, and the poison doesn't deal enough damage to be used efficiently with weapons.
What do you think about it?

dood if you stack defense potions you take like 1 dmg from anything speed is great for ??? to get in quick and start dps punching and poison is good for mage potion combination to make MORE health potions or just use snake eater and drink dat ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Also strength wut? super helpful if you are warior or ??? each one increases your dmg by like 1 or 2 and lemme tell you when you are fighting zombies every extra dmg point helps.

Every potion is useful.

Don't treat Strength, Defense, Speed as active abilities but rather as passive ones.
Since these effects last the entire stage, and there are only nine stages. Each of these potions are effectively a boost in stats for 1/9th of the entire game.

It's not as easy to notice these attribute boosts, but they make a very large difference.

You just need to pay attention. It's easier to understand when you can contrast it against having weaker stats. If you play multiplayer you'll know what it's like to deal 1 - 2 dmg a hit until you get a Strength Potion.

Doubling your damage means halving the amount of hits you have to do .. A much larger margin of error.

I think they are pretty usefull, too.

for example strength is really great, the owls in forest have 10 hp so you rather want to deal 10 dmg instead of 9 dmg which will take you basically 2 hits instead of one. Same goes for defense the other way around where one def point will maybe take Golem-Boss 6 hits instead of 5. just activate speed potions at the start of an stage and it wont be wasted at all!

wow, stacking str potions with the rogue are funny (crits), but not funny when u re poisoned by one potion and shadow becomes useless. D:
