Selling items and Character armor in game?
Just bought the game recently and was wondering if any of the below is in the works?

- Being able to sell items at shops. Would have to only get a tiny amount from shops but it's something I always want to do when I play
- The armor you wear is seen on the character in game (I realize this is a lot of effort for just a cosmetic difference), it would add to making each run feel unique/your own.

Only played for a bit over 2 hours but really enjoying it so far (after the whole learning how to play bit :p). Really keen to keep track and see how this progresses through early access.

I would like to sell items too. I'd like to see more items in the shop also, like 5 or 6 items. I think the shop should always have atleast 2-3 items and a few potions/scrolls to choose from.

I also want to be able to sell items. I feel like gold is to limited by just killing and there are tons of items I have to just discard to make room. It would be nice if we could at least do something with all the items even if we just burned them up in the fire for more hp like scrolls.

well i think being able to sell items would make the healing statue a little too good. plus there are plenty of ways to get rid of useless items, such as the deranged and the smith

selling items would be cool, but i guess thats why you have the shrines to sacrifice unwanted/unused items and get something in return

The issue is when you get 4+ floors in, and Deranged and Smithy (mainly smithy) decide they don't want to show up. Then you could use the shop (that is on every floor) to sacrifice items for a small amount of gold.

Honestly, his selection isn't that bad, but it would be kinda nice if he sold a separate section of only potions. Overall I think it would make it even more OP to just kill shopkeepers. I mean, they aren't even that hard to kill.

... tbh, I didn't know you could do that with the shrines. I only knew about the sacraficing health, guess the smithy should give it away :p

Throwing them into the fire sounds like a good idea. Forcing you to make choices between floors still if your inv is full.

In the last update, they added the ability to throw scrolls/books into the fire to gain 2 HP (never tried books, they might be more)

Note: all heroes at the campfire gain the healing.

I find the shrines to be pretty confusing. I still don't understand how to use all of them or what they do and can't find an answer anywhere.

Maybe there could be a way to combine equipment to make something slightly more powerful that can only be done between levels. So rather than sell, swap, or discard the equipment you could use it as materials to upgrade what you want to keep.

Okay here are the shrines EDIT SPOILER WARNING!!!!:

Light - Bird - Press up to spend 20 gold for 0-30ish hp (seems based on luck). VERY useful

Bloody - Dragon With Blood - Press up to sacrifice half your HP or the fairy. Cannot sacrifice with less than 10 HP

Smithy - Hammer - Drop items in front of the smithy to consume them. After consuming enough items (2-5) it will give you a random new one.

Deranged - Wild Mess of Something - Drop any item to get a random effect. Very similar to wand of chaos. Only source of the Chaos Scroll. Can give items, buffs, debuffs, pain, terrain destruction, water, stats.... stuff.

Shackled - Goblin... thing with a chain from its hand - Drop an item in front of it. If the item is CURSED, it will flash, and shackled will say something like "Take this and bind thyself to me". It means that the item is now "god-cursed". These items cannot be unequipped even with uncurse scrolls. As a bonus, he adds stats to it. If it was already good, he will add considerably more stats to it. This statue can be used to check for cursed items, as long as you are willing to "lose" them if they are cursed. This statue can also be used to get gear that is totally beyond your level, but it cannot be unequipped later. Easily the most powerful shrine for new players. Later Bloody takes over that role.

I don't remember where these names come from. We might have made them up... I don't remember.
