Not showing Steam deck controller icon

Hi, the status said the game shows Steam Deck's controller icon, but in my game it's not showing. Anyone have he same issue?

Yes, this is a known issue since the steam deck and steam input came out.

Kinda makes the menu annoying for me since I dont always remember which button does what.

Unfortunately, the game has always handled controller input really badly with a ton of weird workarounds to get things working. I wouldn't count on the Devs doing anything about this.

it's the same with dualsense controllers, i have to use ds4windows to fake a dualshock 4 to get playstation icons. if it's possible you can use steam input's built in Xbox controller emulator instead, and that'll make xbox icons show up, it means you have to bind everything in game though, and don't even think about using the analog stick to walk if you do that, you will run off ledges.

That's a pretty good suggestion. I never use analog in this game anyway. I will try it later, thank you!

If it doesn't work... eh. I remember what the buttons do after playing for so many hours, it's just a little bit annoying.
