Well none of my people died of starvastion as far as i know even when they where hungry. They must go eat at some point. So its not like i lose people, still the red warning marker is annoying^^
As long as you dont have food problems, and aren'trunning 24 hour shifts it shouldn't be much of a problem.
Imagine it like this: someone becomes hungry, but their shift still lasts for another 8 hours, so they stay hungry for 8 more hours untill they go eat.
people have to go to them to get food
I imagine the same thing happens if your Cook House is cold and not functioning (first attempt I had it in the second row where I didn't have heat).
That said, I've encountered a bug a few times where someone would get stuck doing something meaningless. IE: someone died of illness since he was permanently building a storage depot that was already built, one of my scout people was ''going on an expedition'' on the other city of the city, permanently, etc.
Fortunately they wise up by the time they start 'starving' but it's still pretty annoying.
click on the hungary people Icon, see thier name and what they are doing and find them and dismiss them instead of shutting down an entire building.
FFS we have Food Come eat them stop complaining!!!
