So long as you move away from gathering posts asap (made all the easier with the free techs and large starting population) the resources practically gather themselves leaving you more than free to build as you like.
I wonder what you do differently....
I'm guessing you can use cheat engine to modify certain things, save, then reload the game without cheat engine. You'd keep the modifications but not trigger the anti piracy after loading
That's all I can think of when I put myself in the shoes of this game's devs.
PS: I did cheat when trying the game out with an "arrrr" version and never noticed anything like that. Maybe editing the resource values directly via Cheat Engine didn't trigger anything (which is odd because that's usually detected fast).
PPS: The game wasn't for me (and I uninstalled it long ago) because of several reasons. I won't bore you with the details but I agree with a majority of the negative reviews.
I doubt that that was the intention of the devs. More likely programs like cheat engine alter the game's ram in such a way that the anti piracy is triggered. Or for all we know OP messed up a setting in cheat engine and caused this themselves
Also:
Then why are you here?
I was bored and browsing randomly. Nothing special, really. I didn't come here to talk about how I hate the game or something. Just wanted to tell what I experienced because it's somewhat relevant.
