Report a translation problem
Check your economy tab, it will show you whether they're using coal or not at that particular moment. Check it at night, and assuming you're not running an emergency shift, you should see they aren't consuming anything, even if they're in the "on" position.
Ah okay. That is a little confusing at the onset, i didnt think to check coal use. I dont use that Economy tab enough me thinks. It would be good though, if the switch was auto-turned off just to save confusion. Other players might be thinking they need to manually turn them off to save coal. At least this isnt an issue as i first thought.
