Hey Ruya Fans!

We’re happy to announce that we'll be attending Game Anglia[www.gameanglia.co.uk] this year on the 6th of February in Ipswich! We'll showing off a brand new and updated version of the Ruya: Ascension exclusively at Game Anglia so make sure to come down!

We've been working hard since our open Beta launched to iron out any confusing elements in Ruya: Ascension and get everything polished up nicely for it's launch! We're excited to see how this version of the game will play and what people think so far.

German Translation

Hello :) The game is sweet - I played the demo - but the translation is a bit off. It's funny but in a way that you don't know what you get when you click on the headlines that are "Menu" and "Discord". They are nonsense in German for a game. "Menu" could be "Hauptmenü" instead of "Speisekarte" (which means a menu in a restaurant for ordering food). "Discord" is translated as "Zwietracht" which is correct but "Discord" is a name and shouldn't be translated because you only know the English name in Ger...

We’re stoked to announce that we’re releasing a special sneak peek of Ruya: Ascension, and you are invited to be among the first to play it!

Dev Update: Ruya: Ascension on the Steam Deck!

Hey Ruya Fans!

We're excited to share a little behind the scenes news with you: we've got our hands on a Steam Deck and we have Ruya: Ascension up and running on it! Seeing our work on the deck has been so cool and we're looking forward for you to experience it yourself!

In Progress

Our dev team is currently fine tuning the game to make sure it's a smooth experience on the Steam Deck. We've been focusing on the following areas for Ruya: Ascension's handheld play:

Controls: Ruya: Ascension is fully playable with the Steam Deck's touch screen but Jake's been busy working on refining controller support which will in turn cover the Deck's control scheme. We're aiming for a natural and responsive experience with its unique layout.
Performance: We're testing out different settings to ensure stable experience without sacrificing the visual experience.
Battery Life: For longer battery life on the Steam Deck Tom has been busy reducing draw calls in materials and batches which will help the to give the game more time on the go!

Next Steps

We'll be focusing on preparing Ruya: Ascension for the Steam Deck Compatibility Review and slowly working through all the requirements to make sure our game meets them all for that oh so sweet green tick next to our game!

It's an exciting time, we’ll keep you posted as we make more progress, so stay tuned!

Hey everyone! Here's some general info about our team and the game! We're Miracle Tea , a team of 3: Thomas (programmer), Jake (programmer) and Brad (that's me, the artist). We're excited to be working on a follow up to the first Miracle Tea game from 2016! The display for Chinese characters are mostly broken, and when I tried to change the displayed language to English, it doesn't work.

Some thoughts...

Hello. I am a user who played in Korea. When I run it on Korean Windows 11, Korean characters do not appear properly. Most of the characters are displayed as square boxes. I want to change the language, but only English/Italian/Dutch are displayed. I think it would be better to not follow the default language setting of Windows. For reference, Korean uses 2 bytes per character, not 1 byte. Since I couldn't read the menu, I had to force quit it, but the program did not close properly, so I had to use the 'E...
