Dual weapons?

Someone here discussed dual SMGs, and they are in the videos. I completed the first zone on expert, the second zone on normal, 20 hours in the game.. I have never seen dual weapons. Are guns that rare? Or do they open after some tests of the second zone?

They are unlocked as the 3rd or 4th challenge in Zone 2 "Dual Duel"

Also specifically, they are super fast but you lose 0.5% hp per missed shot, so you cant just no brain spam them.

i feel personally that they are almost mandatory to run health perk with, or maxed out meta shield + shield perk
