Game gets stuck after launching superhot.exe in-game

Same exact problem, get all the way to "downloading" superhot.exe, and upon running the "exe" goes to a screen with scrolling black and white with modem/disk sounds and then the screen freezes while sound continues, going to re-install and see if it fixes anything

I tried re installing, setting graphics to low, comapatility mode, run as admin direct from Windows Explorer, and windowed mode.

Im on Windows 10 with an Nvidia 310M.

I have the same problem and i re-instaleed the game. Nothing changed, it still doesn't work.

Re-installing, trying all graphics options, verifying game cache, restarting steam as well as PC, no change, screen freezes at the same spot, audio still plays, i can hit ESC to quit back to the main menu, but no matter what cannot get past the screen just after running "superhot.exe" so I guess I have to wait for a patch.

Update is applying now. Lets hope this is the fix!

Edit: Well the menu was much smoother but it is still getting stuck on the fuzzy screen with the moden noise.

let it sit for at least 15 minutes at the frozen screen with the modem sounds while I cooked dinner, came back and it was still at the frozen screen until i hit ESC to go back to the menu.
