unity crash on startup?

whenever i try and boot the game, the pre-game splash screen occurs. when i click on "start game", a window pops up. it shows the superhot logo with an exclamation mark on the corner, and the window name is "unity" and then a long string of letters and numbers. ive already tried reinstalling and launching from SH.exe. i tried looking in appdata for a corrupted save file, but only found something called "SUPERHOTsuper-broken.hot" or something like that.

what's going on? how can i fix this?

First of all - please delete the file in appdata that says it's super broken ;) Then try to launch the game.
