Is this game worth it?

The game itself looks very fun, but according to reviews the main game is very short.
Should I buy this at full price or wait for a sale?

Actually the game is not short at all. The main part of the game, as stated on the store page, are challenges and endless modes. The story mode is relatively short, but it is just a glorified tutorial, gameplay wise. It has some cool story but from the game perspective it just teaches you the mechanics and the levels.

If you're looking for a lengthy campaign, it is not for you. If you're looking for arcade experience, you should be happy with what you get in that price.

It depends on your criteria for "worth it". It's subjective. For me, it was worth it. I loved the game mechanics. It felt like a mix of Max Payne and Mirror's Edge. The story made zero sense and was kind of obnoxious. The rest of the game, sans story, I'd give it a 9/10 for being a wonderful and innovative indie game.

If you like the core gameplay (try the prototype), it's absolutely worth it. As stated, the story mode is a tutorial; challenges and endless are the actual content.

I'd say wait until $15 sale or so. Finishing all the main levels takes about 2-3 hours, but the nature of the game gives it a ton of replayability. Endless mode and challenges are great, and you'll probably replay a lot of story levels to beat them in cooler ways. How much money its worth is subjective, but the game is very fun and different.

Yeah, endless mode, so potentionally... Endless gameplay, also a lot of awesome challenges, like no restart mode... Too tough for me. Endless mode at the map Bridge is great though.
