Is it possible my game is glitched?

Ok so I recently started play, I got to the point that I'm in the jail cell (for the first time) after it started changing my text for the first time. It says walk so I walk. It says stand still so I let go of my mouse and keyboard but nothing happens, nothing changes it still says stand still.

So then I start walking around again but nothing really happens. So I go to forums and follow what they say I should do. So I just start walking around for a long while and the screen goes blurry, but after that nothing happens. The screen is blurry and keeps saying stand still. I'm pressing buttons for like a good 3-5 minutes after the screen starts going blurry and nothing happens. I then try to let go of the keyboard again and nothing happens. I just quit the game and watched a playthrough on YouTube and the playthrough literally had a different thing happen in it. He stood still and it said "good". That didn't happen for me.

Is something wrong with my game somehow?

Have you tried to reinstall the game? Maybe some data is corrupted, maybe there was an error while downloading it.

You by all means should just obey the prompts to progress through this level.

No I haven't tried to reinstall yet, but I will give that a try and hopefully that fixes it. Thanks.

Not sure what the problem was, but reinstalling seems to have fixed it. Thanks!
