you can't play a FPS with a controller, that's Herasey ;) You might be surprised at how many keybored setup 'standards' there are, Space is (shouldn't) never used for jump in competative FPS's for the most part. In the end i just had to Auto Hot key it. Which was a bit of a pain.
You don't slow time. You make time happen when you move so WSAD.
As far as using spacebar to Jump, if that works for you then great thats the joy of what normally is a standerd in PC titles. Re-mapping (or leaving them just how they are) is a core element of the platform. If you play a lot of online FPS then belive it or not a lot will re-bind Jump to their rear mouse thumb button. Once you get used to it, it's hard to go back, competative game or not.
Some competative players, and a lot of other people still use Space Bar to jump, which is fine. The point is that there normally is, and should be, a choice.
Hell i'm a freak, as due to my age i still preffer to use the arrow keys ;)
you cannot
I'm left-handed and forcing this right-handed setup on me is making things difficult to play, and I can't recommend a game that does does this.
It's nearly 2018. There is no excuse at this point not to give people the option of rebinding keys.
Use the above mentioned key remapper. It is indeed a huge lazy oversight.
