Linux compatibility?
I'm one of those users, we exist. Checked ProtonDB and no reports yet there. Has anyone here been able to run the installer on Linux yet or anticheat stuff makes it impossible?

Thanks.

Got to the title screen once, got a 'not enough disk space' message, game froze while trying to return to the title screen. Game has gotten stuck at the splash screen ever since. No idea if its the anti-cheat or something else. Tried again multiple times with several versions of proton and GE proton to no avail. I'd consider it borked until further notice.
Hi, there's also this other discussion thread that might interest you https://steamcommunity.com/app/3224770/discussions/0/597404578618553249/
But the gist of it is so far people got it running and preload it, but actually playing it when the server opens remains to be seen.
I was having crashes while using proton hotfix but using proton 9 let me play the game as normal.
Yeah, everything works perfectly (tested on CachyOS, GE-Proton10-4)
No luck here. Ubuntu 22.04 LTS.

Tried Proton Hotfix, Experimental. 9.0-4 gets the farthest (splash screen -> Logo -> White screen). It's almost like it's calling some other launcher and doesn't know what to do.
Use Proton GE.

Works fine on PopOS. Occasionally the screen will go black for a few seconds though.

Update your Vulkan drivers bro.

I just tried the same thing and it still does not work for me too

correction about what I said: I downloaded the latest version of proton (GE-Proton10-10.tar.gz) from the repository (https://github.com/GloriousEggroll/proton-ge-custom) and installed it so I could use it in steam, because the main problem I found was that the game needs Windows Media Foundation files to play the cinematics, but official Proton doesn't include them by default (err:module:import_dll Library mfplat.dll (Media Foundation) not found)

in conclusion I just tested the new version of GE-proton and it seems to be working, I hope this helps someone.

What I tested and what works.

CachyOS with GE Proton 10.9 with Nvidia GPU with 5900x
CachyOS with AMD RX 640 GPU with 3800x with GE-Proton 10.3, and Proton 9.3

Steamdeck's SteamOS works without any compatibility layer being set

I'm playing on EndeavourOS Proton GE latest with Intel UHD Graphics 620.
The game runs with suboptimal fps, but I'm guessing its because the UHD 620 is just bad :\
Works great on Arch with Proton 9.0-4. No issues here.
Didn't work on 8, 9, 10 GE or normal protons on my Ubuntu :(

Hear me out - what if it's not Proton that is the problem?

works fine for me as of protonGE 10-15 on an relatively stable arch derivative so there might be some underlying issue on your end
Working with GE-Proton10-21, no problems at all. :os_niko:
