The need to fertilize berry bushes, saplings and grass
I wanted to ask about that - after you move them they seem to die after some time. Is there a way to not kill them when moving? Do you neccesarily need to fertilize them?
Thank you

You always need to fertilize them (well, not the saplings). That`s the price for moving them to a more convenient location.

Keeping them fertilized shouldn`t be much trouble, though. Especially if you move a herd of beefalo or some koalefants next to your camp.

The best way to save :GoldenPoo: is to use Rot as fertiliser instead, which you'll get over time as meat and berries go bad; mid-game you can have well over forty easily.

If you really, really don't want to bother, there's at least one mod in the Workshop that removes the need to fertilize bushes and grass.

You should try to use poop or even better guano (dropped by bats). Rot does not fertilize as much/as long. Using rot means you will need to re-fertilize sooner.

True, but I can easily acquire multiple stacks of rot that has no other use anyway. :GoldenPoo: is better saved to craft and/or fertilise farms, plus rot can be passively obtained whereas :GoldenPoo: requires time and effort.

Rather than let flowers, lightbulbs and vegetables rot, I feed them to a werepig.
