Does this game have Local Multiplayer?

This game would looks like a lot of fun, if I can sit next to someone and play it on a shared screen.

You can't play local on pc sadly, but you can play split screen on PS4.

But it comes with an extra copy for free and you can play it over LAN.

That's dumb, if PS4 has local so should PC. Oh well, I guess I'll bloody get the game on PS4 then. Does it at have mods on PS4?

Ah crap I looked into the mod and it seems to have no controller support and a really crappy control scheme, and it doesn't let player 2 craft anything.

Ah well, I lost all interest in this game because I feel like it's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ to snub PC gamers when it comes to local play.

You know you can just filter in the steam store for that? Also yes consoles are better for that. But I prefer pc. And it's weird you lose interest in this game altogether. I mean you can just try it out and give the extra copy to him to play together.

If you have powerful enough pc you can even make a virtual pc and have 2 "pc"'s to play on. That way your friend can log in there and play like so, but it will be a hassle to set up.

Artificial split screen isn't a good alternative though because the hud and everything is set up for a certain aspect ratio and there's really no way to do it without the image being distorted or stuff like the HUD being cropped. Also just syncronizing everything is a ♥♥♥♥♥ and a half.

I don't understand why PS4 has Shared Screen Multiplayer and PC doesn't, there's really no reason for that it just screws over PC gamers.

Syncing up isnt a problem since its on lan but you make a good point with the spliting. I just have a second monitor so I didnt really think of it. And it doesnt really ♥♥♥♥ me up that it doesnt have split screen. I like the pc versiom better anyway. I have enough people that play it. Have my own server and gave my extra copy to a friend and play this game almost every day. Not having one niche feature is fine to me. Going to someone's house and play split scrn on tv is a console thing. I just dont need it. Ill play with my friends on pc. Ty
