I pronounce it as "Twenty-Ex-Ex".

I personally go with Twenty X X. Most people, if it was a year (like 2034 for example) would say 20 34, so I take it as a year and call it 20 x x. (the XX basically replaces the last 2 digits, like in the Mega Man X series)

What was this games original name? I like where 20XX came from but honestly hate the name. Simply because I keep getting new viewers into my stream who are mad that 20XX is a megaman like game not me playing the Super Smash Bros Melee mod by the same

come in chat and say "This isn't 20XX wtf!? Wheres the Melee?" it's a annoying, but honest mistake.

Didn't know what they were talking about at first until after about the 5th time it happened and someone linked me to 20XX for smash bros melee reddit page (which ironically is having the same problem with people posting in it about this game lol)

The original name was "Echoes of Eridu".

I personally liked it slightly more but I do believe 20XX fits with the game's identity better for what it's trying to be.
