The Permian period?
I always ask myself why has nobody done a game based around or set during that particular time frame, It in my opinion would set its self apart from other games based around the dinosuars.

There's some things that grew quite large...
Gorgonopsids for example.

Yes and there were some rather large Herbivores too like Moschops (16ft 5m long) which lived in permian South Africa, Theres also Estemmenosuchus which was (10 ft and 3 m long)

The largest of the Gorgons being Inostrancieva
and the smaller ones to name some like Lycaenops and Titanosuchus

But then again the Encyclopedia i have is old and possibly has outdated information.
