Skins aren't showing up in game

A friend of mine traded some skins with me, and they show up in my inventory, however, they are not showing up in the game itself. Is there a fix for this?

Did you try restarting the game when you recieved the skin? Sometimes the connections to the steam servers can be a little choppy.

I uninstall the game, reinstall the game, but nothing..

Something about inventory.ini or something. Also make sure the game didn't unequip your stuff. I had to manually re-equip all my skins and crap.

Something on your computer wont allow you to connect to the economy servers. Check your firewall, antivirus and router settings to see if anything is blocking the connection.

RiahsaurusRex can you post your logs please?

Ilmoto I suspect what might be causing yours is the call just timing out for some reason, ie the server is taking too long to respond. I can't reproduce the issue but I can definitely look at adding in some better validation or perhaps look at increasing how long the game waits for a response.
