Hello.

Recently a lot of people have been posting in wrong subforums and breaking some rules. I want to do a quick recap what kind of posts go where and explain a rule or two.

Forums and subforums

1. General discussions. Threads that don't fit any other category go here. They have to be Primal Carnage: Extinction related.

2. Servers. Any server related discussions and questions go here (advertising your server, the rules of your server, how to make a server, etc.).

3. Issues / bug reporting. Like the name suggests, any issues or bugs you're encountering belong here. Can range from item problems to launching problems. Posting logs from the session you had the issue in is adviced.

4. Open testing. Future sessions and what they include are announced here. Thoughts, opinions and suggestions to current open testing build go here.

5. Suggestions. Any suggestion you have for the game go here. See the pinned posts in case they already have something related to your suggestion (like a new class).

6. Skin discussion. Discussion about skins, like thoughts about certain items or skin ideas. Note that trade requests do not go here.

7. Paleo Talk. Discussion about dinosaurs, not necessarily Primal Carnage: Extinction related.

8. Off topic. Any thread that has nothing to do with Primal Carnage: Extinction goes here.

9. Workshop discussions. Any workshop related thread belongs here, like questions about workshop or skin making.

10. Market. This is the trading forum. All trade requests go here.

Make sure your thread will be posted in the right subforum. Remember that "but no-one reads x subforum" is not an excuse.

Now about certain rules.

1. Necroing. Necroing is when you post a comment or reply on a thread that has not been active for months or even years. Make sure before posting that the last few comments are recent, not something from ages ago. If you must discuss about the matter create a new thread. Pinned posts do not count, you can feel free to post on them.

2. Swearing. Refrain from using foul language on the forums.

3. Arguing and acting unkind. Remember that disagreements can be solved in a civil manner and without calling others names. This should be common sense but I still see it happen every now and then.

4. Only use English when posting. Any posts written in any language other than English may be removed. You are welcome to repost it in English.

That's about it. Remember to read the Steam rules and Guidelines here.
