Alright everyone! I've been talking about a major update, but realized I haven't shared anything on Steam. So now it's your turn to see what I've been up to!

Please note, that this is still in development and some things might be different when the update releases!

In 2.0 Tiny Kings will be different visually as well as offering better gameplay and goals. Changing the visual style of Tiny Kings was a very hard decision to make, but the Team and I believe its for the better. It will allow us to add more content and expand the game in ways that would have not been possible before. An added bonus is that your kingdom will now look even tinier!!

Place a house, select the house, select the job.... AGGHHHH! Yeah, it wasn't the best resource gathering system to have. In 2.0 this will all change. Houses will now be a village with multiple villagers at your disposal. You will then be able to draw a road connecting your village to the resources you'd like to collect! Plain and simple, much better!!

One of the bigger changes in 2.0 will be the gameplay. Instead of just waiting for your impending doom, trying to last as long as you can while the enemy gets stronger and stronger, you'll be able to FIGHT BACK! Thant's right, YOU will now have the power to show those pesky barbarians who's boss. Tiny Kings will also be leaning more towards RTS style, rather than tower defense.

A lot of stuff in 2.0 is a complete rework of the old systems to make them feel better while playing. There's more feedback when building, the world generates faster, more customization options, improvements on the leaderboards, and the list goes on. With all these reworks you should also see WAY less crashes and bugs. I'm really sorry for releasing with that many bugs!

We are just a two man band, and I'm the only programmer, SO! I'm hoping that either the full update or an open beta will be released in the next month, but bugs and such always find me. So, as much as I hope to get something to you guys in the next month, I can't promise anything.

I WILL be posting development progress of 2.0 as new features and milestones are released now that I have made the big announcement. Thank you to everyone how has purchased and supported Tiny Kings. It really means a lot, especially with the amount of bugs found in 1.0. I am truly sorry for the state I released Tiny Kings in, and I can't wait for you all to play the Tiny Kings you deserve.

I have decided to lower the price of Tiny Kings after realizing that the previous set price was too high for the amount of bug I started finding. I am very sorry for the lack of quality in the initial EA release and not changing the price earlier. I'm still learning the ropes of launching a game, but I'll get used to it!

I am continuing to work on a MAJOR update to Tiny Kings that will be bringing lots of great changes to gameplay, as well as fix up all those pesky bugs. Don't expect the update to come out at lighting speed (I am the only programmer on our very small team), but I can't wait for you all to try it!

If you have purchased Tiny Kings before the price change: July 19, 9:00 p.m EST let me know if you would like a compensation.
