Making Boiler Suit

I’ve been really screwed in my Ollie playthrough trying to get a Boiler Suit. I’m short one coarse linen to craft it but can’t seem to find one anywhere. I assume it’s found in wastrel homes so I’ve been looking there but no luck. If anyone knows where I can buy a boiler suit or a coarse linen OR where I can hunt for coarse linen (wastrel or wellie homes?), that would be a huge help.

I'm pretty sure you're right, it's in the wastrel areas, but I want to say I've found them in every area? If you check your crafting menu and select the boiler suit, for instance, under the items needed to make it will also have the usual containers you'll find them in. Off the top of my head I think they're in wardrobes/dressers, probably somewhat obvious I'm sure you're probably checking those already, and I sometimes find them in kitchens or bathrooms, laying on top of tables etc.

I ran into the exact same problem as WhatAChamp. Figured I was pretty much stuck until I read this. Basically following shadowsfm's hint I ran my ass off to the miss buying estate and grabbed the suit in the back, then ran to the nearest home. All because I was missing one 'coarse linen'. Funny thing is once I could roam free in the town 'coarse linen' was dropping regularly.

You have to harvest people's homes and get all these scraps you find. I did this way.
To purchase you need money and you can obtain that inside furnitures in people's houses and telephone booths.
