You have to go to your documents > My games > We Happy Few > Config > WindowsNoEditor and open input.ini
Make sure you changed at least one keybinding so the input.ini isn't empty and then add this to the file
[/script/glimpsegame.glimpseconsole]
bConsoleEnabled=True
[/script/engine.inputsettings]
(should be all the keybindings here, if not just add the line above)
ConsoleKey=F1
ConsoleKeys=F1
Don't forget to also add -console to your game launch options :)

What does card farming have to do with using a dev console? Trading cards only drop from time spent playing a game, no? VAC, as far as I'm aware, is strictly against online cheating. Using a built in console to alter the game in a single player game isn't cheating. The only experience being ruined would be your own.
Where did you even get any of this into your head?
Its a leftover from alpha version where you had Developer Console avaible from game menu.
Thanksfully they didnt disable the console in relase version of the game.
BTW: the -console startup command is not needed. Again a leftover from how to enable console in alpha.
