Arthur\Sally continuity error?
Is there a reason why during the 'Cod Liver Oil' quest line that in Arthur's viewpoint the interactions happen at Sally's apartment and in Sally's viewpoint they happen in the Garden District?

You’ll also notice some of the dialogue is different.

I was thinking that this may have been the case, seeing as Sally revealed some information that Arthur... missed in his viewpoint.

Was this really the reason? Like I get that happening in flashback scenes but it seems weird to do it in the real-time sequences. It really bothered me that the continuity wasn’t there. It wouldn’t have been that hard to keep the scenes the same while still showing the viewpoint of each character in their act (it was done for Ollie with his self-muttering). I think I would have been fine with conversational inconstencies but meeting at a completely different location for an interaction doesn’t really make sense since this type of “memory lapse” happens only once in this game.

The developers already said that thats how the characters remember the encounter, not necessarily how it happened.

So yes, its intentional, not an error.

Which, was entirely retarded. Especially when you have scenes happen outside, on a swing, and the same scene at Sally's house. That's not a different "point of view", that's just a load of crap that destroyed the games immersion and caused me to stop playing after the finishing of Act 2.

That's a bit of a lame reason to stop playing. :/

I think that you need to look at it from other angles.

Playing Act 3 highlighted for me even further that each character is seeing the World in their own skewed vision.

They're unreliable narrators. It doesn't mean something didn't happen, but it doesn't mean it happened exactly the way you saw it. Characters who fit this model typically either contradict themselves, lie to other characters or have gaps in their memory.

Given the entire game is built around a pill that is designed to make you forget, be happy and alters your perception of reality, it's safe to assume most everyone you encounter in the game has rather substantial gaps in their memories.
