Introducing Little Renters Little Big Update, which includes a lot of changes to the core mechanics and quality of life improvements.

First, major updates for Little Renters would be themed with "Little" to signify a major update as the game continues to work towards 1.0 release.

Little Renters only currently have one game mode which is Free Play, but in the near future will receive some additional game modes, which will include some new mechanics and gameplay changes. This will be continually updated as the game modes continue to get closer to release.

Decoration and Decorating has gotten some major overhauls. Every decoration now has been changed and updated, which includes "Broken Animations" for some decorations, more interactions for decorations and the removal and addition of decorations.

When decorating, the game will now pause the Day Night Cycle which will allow you to take more time to not only choose the best decoration for your renter, but also to allow you to decorate freely without any added pressure of time going by. This is highlighted by the border image and the flashing pause image on screen.

New DecorationsIn this update, we're introducing new decorations and a decoration type. Windows, and Door decorations have been removed, to be reworked and walls and floor decorations no longer are preferred by Renters. New Decoration type defined as "Prop" decoration is now available which will allow you to decorate your rooms more and increase the rent you collect.

Prop decorations are not preferred by Renters, and they also do not have any durability, so no need to worry about them breaking (Except for walls and floor, they will still break). Prop decorations that are placed on a counter or table will be sold when the counter or table is either sold or destroyed. Some Tvs can also be placed on tables or counter tops.

Gameplay Changes

Changed the way your total Renter happiness is calculated.

When you level up there will now be button to pressed to take you to the level up menu, where you will upgrade a perk on a random pick.

New Renters are now checked for twice as quickly.

New "Interact" with decoration feature, which will allow you to manually make a Renter interact with a decoration by "Right" clicking on the decoration in which you want the Renter to use (as long as the Renter is not currently using another decoration).

Sketchy Renter trait has now been adjusted, so the Thief will not only enter their room but adjacent rooms as well.

Decorations like Shower, Sinks, Fridge, Stoves, Fireplace now have interactions. Stove, Fridge, Counters and Some Sinks now have break, and repair animations.

Make minor adjustments to Custom game mode.

Decorations now show when they are in an invalid position before attempting to purchase, by being shaded red, and when in a valid position it will be shaded green.

Increased the max decoration amount by 1 when starting a new game.

Hovering over the decoration image in the Renter info card now shows which category the decoration belongs.

Bug fixes/Performance Improvements

Fixed a bug which would prevent a Renter happiness from increasing after they changed their decoration preference.

Fixed a bug which would cause an infinite purchase loop when trying to repair a broken decoration with insufficient money. (This was done by completing removing the feature to repair without enough cash).

Fixed a bug which caused an invalid room spawn when using the custom game mode feature.

Made some improvements in the game loading time by optimizing the way assets were being stored in memory.
