Does this game have a stable playerbase outside of the events such as the recent anniversary?

Just curious, since I enjoy some DM/TDM once in a while and on CS2 it's so full of aimbots it's not fun to do.

Yeah about 300 players ish all year round which is fine with server player slots around 10 to 32 etc

Yes absolutely, my co-op server bouncyball had regulars who come back for it daily for many years. And multiple DM communities had regular players as well. It did depend on the region how easy it was to find, it was popular in europe, less in the US but still played (Thats where I think the promo helped the most) and asia had the fewest players.
