damn thing crashes constantly

I can't hardly get anything done in the program due to crashing at random times. I can't see any sort of consistency in when it crashes, and i'm constantly having to save for fear of losing any of my progress. It just locks up entirely and i have to kill the process in the task manager...really getting frustrated

Magix is horrible. Same issue here, but is only one of many issues I have seen from 2014 and 2015. Magix sucks. I am getting my money back as I am done with them. Good luck!

Try to diable autoscroll ant the newsfeed. If possible, use the WASAPI driver for Playback and recording.

Did disable autoscroll and used WASAPI driver. No real difference. Crashing often occurs when dragging tracks around. It renders the application almost unusable because I can only make like 10 second songs before it gets unstable and crashes. My rig has 6 GB ram, 4Ghz i7 930 and 780 Ti, so running this shouldn't be a problem hardware-wise.

I really love this program, but I just can't use it because of the constant crashing.

I have used it for over 240 Hours now and the prog has been crashing non stop if you try to work with it. I tried this aswell it still crashes and at random events so i dont think its entirely related tot he autoscroll. At first i thought that the auto scroll was the main cause of crashing but there are others.. can some serious dev get in contact with me...i can provide in depth inforemation as i am willing. I spent 100 bucks and i want to be able to use the prog.

Yup SAME HERE and its driving me crazy, I'm trying to make a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ song, its literally crashing 1 every 2 minutes

How do they expect people to buy the next version if they cant even get this one to work?
Also at the very very very very expensive prise you expect something out of it. Like pay a million bucks to theese guys and the program crashes after 2 minutes of use. Well done. Its so bad steam have blocked people from writing reviews *slow clap*

I have used 3 different version of Magix Music Maker. 16, 17 and MX. They all crashed across several computers using different operating systems. After that, I gave up. I'm very sad to see that they still haven't solved the problem. I was actually considering getting it again, but even to this day people are complaining about it.
