Launching - Msvcr110.dll

Hi.

My game can't launch. I've tried everything I could find here and in the FAQ, but nothing works. I've uninstalled 3 times, but that didn't help either.

When I tried to run as an administrator or ask the computer to check compatibility it says, that msvcr110.dll is missing, and suggest that I reinstall. But as stated before reinstalling does not help.

I'm on Win10 64-bit.

Any suggestions?

I even tried installing the dll file manually, but that didn't work either..

How did you "install" the dll? It should go into that folder:

I did that exactly. It didn't work.. And yes I tried everything in that thread multiple times.

I played the demo a couple of weeks ago with no problems.

When I tried with the dll again, I got a new error 0xc000007b.

I've tried to do the suggested solutions for this error as well, but that does not help either..

Does the event log tell anything?

Where do I find the event log?

I installed it on a spare computer, I've got and it runs without problems here. Only downside is, that the computer isn't as good as mine. The graphics card makes the game a bit laggy.
Weird that I can't get it to work on the other..

Look for it in the folder "Windows Logs/Application".

I found the log, but I'm not sure exactly what to look for?

I tried copying the 'life is strange'-folder from the computer where it works to this one, but that didn't help either.

On the computer where it works, it goes through 9 installations, when it does the game setup for the first time. On this computer it briefly goes through 1.

I did. I tried everything.

But for some weird reason my computer started acting up today. I reset to factory settings to solve it, and after that it went through the installation properly, and now it works. Don't know what was wrong before, but I'm just happy that I can play it now :)

So I've been looking around for this specific "Msvcr110.dll" everywhere, I have 2/3, since one of the microsoft pages seem to be missing or removed. Anyways. I read the "Fix4dll" website, I downloaded the file, low and behold, why do I see that link everywhere, when it's literally one of the most filled virus files / packages? Still looking for a solution for this absolute aids and stupid ass reason why my game won't start, the game auto installed the packages, even reinstalled it a couple of times by this point.
