stuck already

i'm such a newbie at these games. anywho, i just started episode 1. i got through the first part where the girl got shot in the bathroom. got back to the classroom and cannot get out. have to talk to the teacher. then i get stuck. im not sure if it's a glich. but i cannot rewind. cannot skip. and she keeps saying 'max you'll have to rewind or cancel'. i have no idea what button on the controller is cancel.but i've pressed every button and she is stuck . saying 'i cannot be in two places at once'. and i cannot leave the class because apparently i need to talk to the teacher. help! lol

There's only so many buttons on the controller. One of them is rewind. Shouldn't be difficult to figure out. Just hold down the button until you figure out which it is.

I did all that and still no buttons work. I was thinking maybe it was a glitch of some sort. thanks for your help.

scott. i am not sure the version. I just bought and downloaded the 19.99 1-5 package yesterday. so whatever that version is.

If all else fails, reload the last checkpoint (pause menu).
If this is a non-technical issue, the solution to that part is as follows:
1) Make an excuse and fail, then hear the correct answer.
2) Rewind to the pre-conversation state and give the correct answer to the teacher.
3) The class should end almost immediately. Talk to the teacher and choose any response.
4) Oblige the rewind tutorial and provide a more thoughtful answer.
5) Exit the classroom.

Ok, I'm going to try it again. I did delete to last checkpoint once already. and it always gets stuck at that same part. hmmm
